Skin Analysis
Our Skinscope LED is designed to help assess the skin for signs of underlying damage.
We detect unwanted pigmentation, poor desquamation, dehydration, congested pores, and skin oiliness for diagnosis and treatment and product recommendations
-
Medical Grade Peels
Involves the application of a chemical solution to the skin's surface to remove the top layers of damaged or aged skin.
This process promotes exfoliation and encourages the growth of new, healthier skin cells.
-
Microneedling
Mesopen Pro micro needling is a safe and minimally invasive treatment designed to stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin fibers in the skin.
Collagen induction builds layers of the supporting intracellular matrix, promoting healthy, resilient skin that looks younger.
It's important to assess the skin to determine your needs to achieve great skin. We evaluate your skin's condition, concerns, and needs to provide personalised recommendations for skincare routines, products, and treatments. This assessment helps tailor a skincare plan that addresses your specific skin type, issues, and goals.
SKIN ANALYSIS
MEDICAL GRADE PEELS
We understand that the skin has a natural turnover / renewal cycle which slows with age. This leads to the skin’s appearance looking lack lustre, collagen levels become depleted, making the dermis more susceptible to UV exposure, pigmentation & photodamage, deep lines and injury.
Chemical Peels use both natural and synthesised ingredients to bring about a chemical form of exfoliation. Meaning that the skin sloughs off naturally rather than having to use abrasive or mechanical techniques to remove it.
Peel Types
Superficial chemical peels
High-quality acid combinations target skin concerns such as acne and signs of ageing by penetrating only the uppermost layer of the epidermis. For all types of skincare specialists and to be used on a regular basis to help patients maintain healthy-looking skin.
Medium chemical peels
Advanced and innovative acid combinations target pigmentation and signs of ageing including melasma, actinic keratosis and senile lentigines. These advanced solutions require the specific expertise of highly skilled skincare specialists to offer remarkable results.

Superficial peels
Your skin is cleansed with the active cleanser which is left on for a few minutes. The peel is applied, and you may feel a tingling sensation while it is on your skin. The peel is neutralised with water and a moisturising cream is then applied. Some redness may appear but will quickly fade. It is recommended to have 4 peel sessions at 2-week intervals to achieve optimal results.
Medium peels
The technique used for a medium peel is similar to that of a superficial peel, but the peel may be left on for a longer period of time or more layers may be applied to the skin. You may feel a mild to intense heating sensation while the peel is on your skin.
-
Superficial peels
It is recommended to have 4 peel sessions at 2-week intervals to achieve optimal results.
Medium peels
It is recommended to have 1 to 4 medium peels to achieve visibleand long-lasting results. Depending on the protocol followed, an interval of 2 and up to 8 weeks will be required in between the in-clinic sessions.
-
Superficial peels
The redness will disappear a few minutes after the peel, thanks to the application of a post-treatment moisturiser. Moisturise and apply sun protection as often as necessary over the next 2 to 3 days. Your skin may feel tight but smooth and some very superficial desquamation may occur. Most patients return to their normal activities immediately after the peel.
Medium peels
During the first few days after the peel, there may be some swelling, especially if the area around the eyes is treated. The skin will then flake off gradually and be replaced by new, fresh skin. It will take 4 to 5 days for the skin to restore itself completely, during which time it should be kept hydrated by moisturising. It is essential to protect your skin with a high protection sunscreen during the whole treatment period and for at least one month after the peel.
Mesopen Pro Microneedling is a safe and minimally invasive treatment designed to stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin fibres in the skin. Tiny medical-grade needles create controlled ‘wounds’ to the skin that promote the release of growth factors which leads to synthesis of new collagen and elastin.
MICRONEEDLING
MICRONEEDLING
-
Skin needling builds layers of the supporting intracellular matrix, promoting healthy, resilient skin that looks younger.
-
It can take up to 2 weeks to start to see the results and the process will continue over the following months.
-
Most skins will need around 3 to 6 treatments, being 4-6 weeks apart.
-
Absolutely, microneedling can be performed in conjunction with a PRP procedure.
Our Alocuro PRP protocol uses the platelet-poor plasma (PPP) for microneedling and then the high platelet concentration PRP is injected with a very fine and short needle. This protocol has been developed based on published evidence and after development with Alocuros large medical practitioner network.
